Hong Kong Sports Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability

(Chinese ONLY)香港弱智人士體育協會由一群熱心為智障人士服務的專業人員於1978年成立,以主辦康體活動予智障人士為目標*,積極發展、推廣及組織智障人士體育活動,務求令其盡展潛能、培養祟高體育精神及積極融入社群。

本會是全港唯一舉辦體育活動予智障人士的機構,經過數十年的發展,擁有近百個機構會員和數千名註冊運動員及參與者,每年參與活動的總人數逾四萬人次。

Mary Rose School

(Chinese ONLY)本校為聖公會基督堂於1970年創辦,由前任牧師天保民勛爵捐款興建,以其名字命名,並以勛爵夫人”Mary Rose”之名字作為英文校名,以資紀念,並由1986年遷往新建校舍,成為首間特別為兼收輕、中度智障兒童而設計的學校。時至今日,天保民學校開設由小一至中六共二十五班。

United Christian Hospital is an acute general hospital that provides 24 hour accident and emergency service with a wide range of other services including in-patient, day-patient, out-patient and community care services to the population of East Kowloon.

Lutheran School for the Deaf

(Chinese ONLY) 本校是一所基督教學校,校風純樸。自1968年成立至今,為香港聽障學童提供優質的中、小學教育。自1992年開始,本校更為就讀於主流小學的聽障學生提供支援服務,這項服務於1998年推展至中學生,全面為融合教育提拱支援服務。

Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service

(Chinese ONLY)循道衛理楊震社會服務處成立於一九六七年,是一間多元化的社會福利服務機構。
早於一九五三年當衛理公會在香港開展教會工作時,美國的衛理公會社會福利部也同時開始在香港提供多類型的服務。該部在香港及世界四十多國家及地區提供緊急救濟、現金援助及徙置等工作,並與多個世界性及不分宗派的福利機構緊密合作,其中包括美國基督教世界服務會,及瑞士普世教會協會。

A Resource Centre for special education workders was set up by Hong Kong Education Bureau to provide information and network on special education.

Joyful Classroom

Joyful Classroom is a private child development centre, offering individalized training programmes to children according to their special needs.

Vocational Training Council

Established in 1982, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) is the largest vocational education, training and professional development group in Hong Kong. VTC provides educational and vocational courses for students graduated from special schools.

Hong Kong Blind Union

Hong Kong Blind Union was established in 1964. It is the first self-help group organized and managed by people with visual impairment. It aims at promoting the spirit of self-help and mutual-help as well as striving for equality, opportunities and independence for them.

The Children’s Institute of Hong Kong Limited

The Children’s Institute of Hong Kong Limited (TCI) was founded in 2003 by the parents of two children with special education needs.
