HKU OneClick Successfully Hosts Positive Living Carnival for Students by Commission on Children Hong Kong (COC) Funding

On 23rd March 2023 (Thursday), OneClick hosted its first kick-off event for the COC funding programme “School Outreach Program to Improve Student Mental Health After COVID-19 Pandemic School Closure, Promoting healthy and happy childhood”, the Positive Living Carnival, at Po Leung Kuk Tang Yuk Tien College.

The event aimed to promote positivity and well-being among students from primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong. The carnival featured two game booths designed by OneClick, where students played games that fostered positivity and the spirit of never giving up. In addition, the HK Guidedog Association set up a booth where students could interact with animal-assisted intervention (AAI) dogs and learn about the benefits of animal-assisted therapy. Through the interaction with the AAI dogs, students learned about the positive effects that animals can have on mental health and well-being.

The HK Guidedog Association also provided information on how the dogs are trained and cared for, giving students a deeper understanding of the importance of animal welfare. The event was a great success, with students leaving feeling refreshed, energized, and motivated to prioritize their well-being.

OneClick is committed to continuing its efforts to promote mental health and wellness among the wider community and looks forward to hosting more events and initiatives in the future.
